Step 1- Gather supplies: sharp chef's knife, two bowls, cutting board, and a ripe pineapple
Step 2- Place pineapple on cutting board, slice top off
Step 3- Place inedible parts in one bowl, let pineapple sit upside down for 10 minutes to let juices distribute to top
Step 4- Turn pineapple and slice the bottom off, put it in the scrap bowl
Step 5- Turn pineapple again, slice the skin off in sections. Skin can go in scrap bowl.
Step 6- Go back and remove the eyes of the pineapple left behind from skin. Cut a circle around it using the tip of the knife. Removed chunks can go in bowl.
Step 7- Cut the pineapple into quarters by slicing it in half twice.
Step 8- Take a quarter section and slice the core of the pineapple out by cutting the tip of the wedge. Place in scrap bowl. Repeat to all 4 wedges
Step 9- Take the wedges and cut into small chunks, placing the edible ones into the second bowl.
Step 10- Clean up the mess you made, and then enjoy your delicous snack
